Who?

I’m a 30 year old writer, musician, runner, maker, general dabbler, dog dad and husband who currently makes his living as a mechanical engineer. I grew up in a small fishing town in New-Brunswick and currently call Montreal home.

What?

I’ve always been a curious guy.

Over the years, my inquisitive nature has been a bit like that party friend from college that can’t quite get their shit together.

You know, the one that would call you when you were working on that last minute assignment to convince you to get “one beer” over dinner because “everyone needs a break”.

The one that always seems to find the newest, hottest takeout joint 4 days into your new diet.

He now lives in his parent’s basement even-though they don’t speak because of what happened last Thanksgiving.

That guy.

My curiosity has shown me a good time and taught me many valuable nuggets over the years. For instance, if I ever find myself riding a camel and it goes rogue, I know how to get it under control. Don’t ask me what university class I was in when I learned that one. I haven’t got a clue.

I’ve tried to cut him out of my life many times for the sake of growing up and being a responsible adult.

He always calls though, and I always pickup. To curious to know what the latest adventure is about.

This time is different. This time, I bought a futon and let him move in.

This blog is an account of a regular guy (AKA. me) following his inquisitive nature. Diving deep into interesting topics and big questions in hope of living a meaningful life. Whatever that means.

Why?

I believe that everyone can live a fulfilling, interesting life regardless of their background or how they make a living.

We don’t all have to be tech entrepreneurs, YouTube stars or pro athletes to have value and live a life of meaning.

It all starts with investing a small amount of intentional time chasing down something that is interesting to you. Who knows? You might even stumble upon something that lights your fire and makes you feel alive.
